Because it teaches me to keep my cool.

2) What are your personal tips to Bikram Yoga Lower East Side students?

Wrapping up a one-week vacation from a job I hated.

7) What’s the best/worst thing about being a Bikram Yoga teacher?

The best thing is the privilege of witnessing the humanity of it all – the struggles & the triumphs. The worst thing is the never-ending plastic bags of wet yoga clothes.

When I was 10, my brother brought me along with him and his friends to see the Thompson Twins in Boston Commons. The first concert I went to with my friends was The Who. I think I was a junior in high school.

15) What was the first album you purchased with your own money?

A Captain & Tennille “Do That To Me One More Time” single. I was five years old and played it on my Holly Hobby record player.

16) What’s your guilty pleasure?

I have a few.

A post-camel breakthrough/breakdown
