1) Why do you like it hot?
Because stretching is pretty high up there on my list of favorite activities, and there’s no stretch like a sweaty stretch.
2) What are your personal tips to Bikram Yoga Lower East Side students?
Greeeeeen juice is amazing! And relax your jaw in class—it makes a huge difference in how your neck feels.
3) As a child, what did you want to be “when you grew up?”
A ballerina. And briefly, a neonatologist.

5) What’s your most prized possession?
Love, and my super special recipe for Mini Nibblers.
6) What’s your guilty pleasure?
Vegan sweets, especially those involving super dark chocolate. Though I don’t feel particularly guilty.

7) What is your most embarrassing moment on the teacher’s box?
Nothing too horribly mortifying has happened to me…yet.
8) What were you doing the day you decided you were going to be a Bikram Yoga Teacher?
I was at a Bikram Seminar in San Antonio, TX. Bikram pointed to me and said, “You! I’ll see you in my teacher training!”
9) What’s the best/worst thing about being a Bikram Yoga teacher?
Very Best: I get to teach and practice yoga with wonderful people from so many walks of life every day.
Second Best: My work outfits do not involve shoes.
Worst: So much sweat = so much laundry.

Ezra. Or our kitty, Sophie, if she’s pawing at me in hopes of an early breakfast.
