Tricia,
I initially got into Bikram because bikini season is fast approaching and thought that Bikram would give me the best chance of getting into a two piece this summer... After my first day muscles I did not know I had where in pain, I could barely sleep, and then I remembered the teacher saying "The poses that are most difficult and uncomfortable for you are the ones you should focus on most. It is you body's way of telling you that these are the things you need to work on." So with that in mind I went back the next day.
It seemed to get easier every time, so I decided to stick with it. After about a week I began to notice that I woke up earlier (I seemed to not need as much sleep) but I felt more rested. I also noticed that I was eating a lot less but still feeling full.
After the 14th day people around me began to notice a change, I got a lot of compliments, and random strangers began staring at my ass..
After day 21 Bikram had become such a routine that I began planning meetings around my class schedule, which seemed to work out well for everyone because I was less stressed after class and actually seemed to be able to better access my creative side. I do some photography and I think that I am now able to focus clearer during a shoot using the breathing techniques I learned in class.
I completed 30 classes in my first 30 days (a challenge I set for myself at the end of my first week, which a friend of mine dubbed the "Sorin Challenge"), and now I cannot remember life before Bikram.
My ass looks really good now and I am thinking about getting into ass modeling.
Thanks LES Bikram,
Sorin Abraham
